- _c_d_b_B_a_c_k_u_p provides users ability to save cluster configuration database.
- The backup file generated by _c_d_b_B_a_c_k_u_p command can be restored using
- _c_d_b_R_e_s_t_o_r_e command.

- _c_d_b_B_a_c_k_u_p takes several options:

- ----dddd _b_a_c_k_u_p-_d_i_r_e_c_t_o_r_y
- The configuration database backup file is stored in _b_a_c_k_u_p-
- _d_i_r_e_c_t_o_r_y. If this option is not specified, the backup file
- is stored in ////vvvvaaaarrrr////cccclllluuuusssstttteeeerrrr////ccccddddbbbb----bbbbaaaacccckkkkuuuupppp directory.

- ----iiii _b_a_c_k_u_p-_i_d
- _b_a_c_k_u_p-_i_d can be used to identify the backup file name. If
- this option is not specified, the hostname of the machine is
- used as the _b_a_c_k_u_p-_i_d.

- ----cccc _d_a_t_a_b_a_s_e-_h_e_a_d_e_r-_f_i_l_e
- The location of configuration database header file can be
- specified as _d_a_t_a_b_a_s_e-_h_e_a_d_e_r-_f_i_l_e. If this option is not
- specified, default configuration database header file
- ////vvvvaaaarrrr////cccclllluuuusssstttteeeerrrr////ccccddddbbbb////ccccddddbbbb....ddddbbbb is assumed.

- ----hhhheeeellllpppp Prints command usage information.

- All nodes have to be backed up separately. The information in all the
- configuration database is not the same.

- There should be no configuration changes made when the configuration
- database is being backed up using _c_d_b_B_a_c_k_u_p.

- EEEEXXXXAAAAMMMMPPPPLLLLEEEE
- The following command backups the configuration database which has the
- header file "/var/cluster/cdb/cdb.db" to "/var/cluster/cdb-backup"
- directory with backup id "June1998".
